According to the tradition, the statue of the Christ of the Light protected Aguilar from an epidemic during early 17th century. This is why in 1611, neighborhoods bought the property where the statue was set, in order to build a hermitage in his honor. Since then, it will receive the name of Christ of the Health. Some assets of interest are the baroque façade, the altar piece or the sculpture of Saint Christopher.
