This is a spectacular hydraulic engineering work from Roman period, with a capacity of up to 850000 of litres of water. It dates back to 1st century A.D. These Roman cisterns are the best preserved ones in Spain. Getting into them is like coming 2000 years back to discover the splendor of the Roman Baetica region.
